Aerial Scanning & Surveying

Aerial scanning and survey data demonstrates changes in urban development, environmental changes, transport infrastructure, and building redevelopment, which make aerial surveys an invaluable resource for the public sector and private individuals alike.

Aerial photographs of the UK

Our database includes the following aerial prints and digital photographs:

  • English aerial photos
  • Scottish aerial photos
  • Welsh aerial photos

English Aerial Photos

We've got England covered from the air. From London to Birmingham, Bristol to Newcastle, Leeds to Liverpool, we've got just about any English aerial photo of England that you'd care to name, including your house if you live in England! Don't forget that aerial photos make marvellous presents, especially for people who have everything. For instance, how about an aerial picture of your parent's house as an anniversary present? Or an aerial shot of a work place for a workaholic? Or even an aerial print of your school for old friends?

Aerial Photos of Scotland

We've got a wide selection of Scottish aerial photos to choose from covering most of the major cities including Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Inverness. This includes aerial pictures of Scottish castles, Glens, golf courses and of course, the beautiful Scottish countryside. We're adding to our coverage all the time (weather permitting) so will have the whole of Scotland covered soon.

Welsh Aerial Photos

Wales from the air is stunning and we have aerial photos of the whole of Wales. Our photos range from Cardiff to Swansea, Aberystwyth to Wrexham and includes Welsh castles and mountains, Welsh beaches and forests - giving you a unique birds eye view of the whole of Wales.

Aerial Photos of UK - a bit of history

At the end of the Second World War an aerial photographic record was made of the country. In partnership with English Heritage we are able to supply selected areas of England. The archive comprises of approx. 500,000 black and white aerial photographic prints taken by the RAF of the UK between 1946 -1948.

This data, in conjunction with the modern Millennium Map, offers a rare opportunity to study the two National databases side by side.
